He was predeceased by: his mother Donna Smidl. He is survived by: his spouse Cherlynne Smidl; his father Robert Smidl; his children, Jason Smidl (Jessica), Carrie Smidl and Brandon Smidl; his siblings, Robert J Smidl (Dorris), Ruth Glass (Frank) and Donna Brown; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Jaxon, Heidi, Gwen and Reagan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
