He was predeceased by: his parents, David J. Toomey and Emma Mae Keller Toomey; and his brother David J. Toomey. He is survived by: his wife Rita Martin Toomey; his children, Donald E. Toomey Jr. (late Joy), Debbie MacArthur (Neil) and Diane Vazquez (Steve); his sibling Dana Foerst (David); his grandchildren, Renee O'Brien (Mike), Donald Toomey (Kayla Whitlatch), Ashley Kovac (Justin), Lindsay Musico (Zach), Chelsea Scherer (Nate) and Steven Vazquez; and his great grandchildren, Zelda, Donovan, Ellie, Sydney, Emma, Sophia and Enzo. He is also survived by father and grandfather who loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home and Cremations Service, Ltd. (5864 Heckert Rd, Bakerstown, PA 15007). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
