He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Maynard and Luemma Williams Maynard; and his siblings, Olive, Frankie, Mary, Crit and Emory Maynard.
He is survived by: his wife Flora Cook Maynard; his children, Ronald Maynard (Linda) of Gibsonia, Bruce Maynard (Jerrie) of Wexford, Randy Maynard of Gibsonia, Jeff Maynard (Sherrie) of Las Vegas, Artie Maynard (Amy) of Valencia, Joyce Scatena (David) of Cheswick and Cindy Maynard of Gibsonia; and his brother Percy Maynard (Linda). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren as well as many great-grandchildren.
