He was predeceased by: his parents, William Salansky and Anna Slebodnik Salansky; and his siblings, Mary Stumpf, Helen Soltis, Eleanor Sholtis, Evelyn "Sadie" Salansky, Ann Berish, Emma O'Hop, Eva Salansky, John, William, George and Joseph Salansky.
He is survived by: his wife Lois L. Canfield; his children, Edward Salansky (Carmen Cervantes) of Gibson Township, PA, Lori Eshelman (Thomas) of Gibson Township, PA, Albert Salansky (Georgia) of Gibson Township, PA and Lisa Salansky (Jim) of Gibson Township, PA; and his grandchildren, Joshua Eshelman (Michael Venn), Shanna Eshelman, Zakk Finkenbinder and Nikki Crary (Ryan). He is also survived by step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
