Harry R. Curnow II Obituary
In loving memory of Harry R. Curnow II of Gibson, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on April 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Harry leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. Curnow and Lillian Klepp Curnow; his former wife Judy Oset Curnow; his stepson Martin Carpenter; and his stepgrandson Harrison Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth M. Marsden; his children, Harry Curnow, III of Taylor and Wendy Besten (Michael) of Greenfield Twp; his stepsons, Harrison Carpenter (Marlene) of Vandling, Stephen Carpenter (Ruth Ann) of Dundaff and Phillip Carpenter (Anna) of Lake Ariel; his grandchildren, Courtney Mecca, Michael Besten, Jr., Harry Curnow IV, McKensie Curnow, Jordan Bednash and Jakob Curnow; his stepgrandchildren, Todd Carpenter, Matthew Carpenter, Andrew Carpenter and Dylon Carpenter; and his siblings, Constance Curnow of Hilton Head, SC, Walter Curnow of Boston, Mass. and Frank Curnow of Daytona, FL.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lenoxville United Methodist Church (4842 PA-374, Lenoxville, PA 18441). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Old Colonial Mausoleum.
