He is survived by: his children, William J. Smith, Jr. (Lisa) of Dade City, FL, Teresa A. Smeak (Bill) of Hanover, Daniel F. Smith of Gettysburg, Sharon E. Spangler of Gettysburg and Laurie F. Schue (Alan) of Littlestown. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
