He was predeceased by: his father Sterling E. Sr. Birgensmith; his daughter Samantha Birgensmith; and his grandson Jayden. He is survived by: his mother Lucille F. Birgensmith (Grosholz); his daughter Danielle Birgensmith (Christopher Palmer); his grandchildren, Makayla Palmer, Trinity Smith, Nova Palmer and Nathan Palmer; and his siblings, Kerry Birgensmith, Kevin Birgensmith (Angie), Michael Birgensmith and Kelly Alderfer (Fred). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
