She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis G. Mackie and Dorothy M. Mackie (Pierson); and her husband Charles V. Sweet. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie S. Hood (Chan) and Glen A. Sweet (Vicci); her sister Diane Genco; her grandchildren, Jesse Sweet, Lauren Bleiler (Steve), Charles Hood and Katherine Tevis (Sean); and her great grandchildren, Gwendolyn Bleiler and Grace Bleiler.
