We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2021, at the age of 72, Sara Jane Moody of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. John W. Emig, Sr. and Margaret Grace "Bebe" Emig (Zimmerman); and her brother James Nelson Emig. She is survived by: her children, John R. Moody (Melissa) of Columbia, PA and Sara M. Moody-Wilhelm (Andrew) of Gettysburg, PA; her brother John W. Emig, Jr.; her children, Daniel Moody, Emily Verdier (Moody), Jackie Takatsui and Angie Starner; and her grandchildren, Chris Moody, Kayla Moody, Lexi Verdier, Abby Verdier, Graham Verdier, Ashley Dellinger, Kyle Warfel, Alex Moody, Allie Moody, Tyler Bell and Zach Gebhart.
