He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Kenworthy and Elizabeth P. Kenworthy (Piccola); his brother Philip H.; and his sister-in-law Mary M. Kenworthy. He is survived by: his wife Margaret M. Kenworthy (Redding); his children, Stephanie Justen (Keith) of Fairfax, VA, R. Bradley (Kim), Christopher (Jeanne) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Abigail, Caleigh, Peter, Bridget Justen, Zachery (Maranda), Hannah, Alison Kenworthy and Lexie Poe (Jeremy); and his brother Wayne V. Kenworthy (Margaret).
