It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Groves Sr. of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Bedford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Groves and Edith Groves (Goodrich); and his siblings, Jack Groves and Elaine Stough. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Criswell (Joseph, Sr.) and Robert A. Groves, Jr. (Shelly Orwig Windsor); his brother Lloyd Groves (Ruthann); his brother-in-law Robert Stough; his grandchildren, Trysta Criswell-Tran, Joseph Criswell, II, Brandon Criswell and Kayla Tracey; and his great grandchildren, Austin Criswell, Andre Tran, Adriana Atchley, Caleb Criswell, Dean Criswell and Jasper Hoffman.
