He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Ritter, Jr. and Anna Fink Ritter; and his siblings, Robert, George Ritter and Clara "Toots" Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Hannah I. Ruhe Ritter; his daughters, Terry Gerber (Tim) of Rehobeth Beach, DE, Susan Bonneville (Tom) of Finksburg, MD and Marci Nahory (Brian) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Megan, Christopher Tudor, Eric Phillips, Michael Phillips (Sam Knopp), Morgan Madrigal (Rolando), Caleb, Alexis and Alyssa Nahory; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Braxton Madrigal; and his sisters, Altha Gunkel and Beverly Mulligan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
