She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Protacio Depakakibo and Victorina Depakakibo (Leonidas); and her siblings, Nhilda Gaton and Herminia Emnacen. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Alfredo G. Kaguyutan; her daughters, Janice Kaguyutan of Washington, DC and Antoinette Kaguyutan of Washington, DC; her niece Maria Estiamba of Gettysburg, PA; and her sibling Brig.
Together with her siblings, they founded the Victorina Leonidas Depakakibo Educational Foundation in their hometown of Concepcion, Iloilo, to honor their mother—a devoted schoolteacher.
