With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ofelia D. Kaguyutan MD of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Protacio Depakakibo and Victorina Depakakibo (Leonidas); and her siblings, Nhilda Gaton and Herminia Emnacen. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Alfredo G. Kaguyutan; her daughters, Janice Kaguyutan of Washington, DC and Antoinette Kaguyutan of Washington, DC; her niece Maria Estiamba of Gettysburg, PA; and her sibling Brig.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church (208 Baltimore St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Together with her siblings, they founded the Victorina Leonidas Depakakibo Educational Foundation in their hometown of Concepcion, Iloilo, to honor their mother—a devoted schoolteacher.
