He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry A. Strausbaugh and Susan Smith Strausbaugh; his stepdaughter Lesa Zani; and his brothers, Clifford Strausbaugh and Glenn Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Hahn Strausbaugh; his daughters, Angela Beaman (Shawn) of New Oxford, PA and Robin Stratton (Frank) of Fairfield, PA; his stepson Lemual Kindle (Tena) of West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Tia Kindle, Brian Kindle, Casey Kindle, Sarah Kindle, Jacob Kindle, Christopher Kindle, Bethany Dempsey, Jacob Stratton and Brett Stratton. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
