As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Adelsberger and Betty Adelsberger (Plank); her husband Kenneth Kessler; and her sister Melinda Jaworsky. She is survived by: her son Mark Kessler of Gettysburg, PA; and her sisters, Darlene Collier of New Oxford, PA, Martha DiSarro (Joe) of Reading, PA, Donna Andrew (Ron) of Gettysburg, PA and Doris Kane (Jim) of McKnightstown, PA. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and two aunts.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Monahan Funeral Home (125 Carlisle St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
