It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Elmise (Eugene) Merine of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stangene Eugene and Clermise Eugene; her husband Joseph Hermann Merine; her children, Jean Erol Merine, Annel Mannet Merine (Marie Rosette) of Orlando, FL, Jacques Maxeau Merine (Marie Kettly) of Gettysburg, PA, Marie Margaret Merine of Gettysburg, PA and Bethie Celius (Clotaire) of Gettysburg, PA; and her daughter-in-law Martha Merine (late Jean Erol) of Haiti. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
