It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda M. Himes of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Acevedo and Genevieve A. Acevedo (Arentz); her husband Charles W. Himes, Sr.; her son Bernardo Himes; and her sisters, Flora Acevedo and Carmen Acevedo.
She is survived by: her sons, Dustin Himes (Jasmine) of York and Charles W. Himes, Jr. (Linda) of Biglerville; and her siblings, Elizabeth Acevedo, Gloria Acevedo, Connie Heldibridle, Margaret Arentz, Mary Ann Acevedo-Cleve, George Acevedo, Michael Arentz, Bernardo Acevedo, Manuel Acevedo and Danny Acevedo. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
