Simmons (Lucas); his daughters, Selinda Simmons (Mindy) of Gallatin, TN and Kathleen Butler (JT) of Gallatin, TN; his stepson Joshua C. Nelson (Nina) of East Berlin, PA; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kaitlyn, Damon, Lilah and Brianah; his great grandchild Kanyon; and his sisters, Debra Dove of Germantown, MD and Laura Nix of Frederick, MD..
