We bid farewell to Larry Brent Eckard of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 15, 2024 at the age of 83. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Eckard (Steger) and Stewart Eckard; and his wife Hilda "Tillie" Eckard (Coppersmith). He is survived by: his children, Kenneth M. Eckard (Janie A. C.) of Hanover, PA, Douglas Eckard (Jennifer) of Alameda, CA, Pamela Nicol of Hanover, PA and Bonnie Eckard-Davis (Dan) of Littlestown, PA; his grandchildren, Aimee Tasker (Toby) of Hanover, PA, Dylan Eckard of Hanover, PA, Julianna, Christopher Eckard of Alameda, CA, Jacob Nicol of Charlotte, NC, Taylor Nicol of McSherrystown, PA and SSgt Alek Nicol; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jaxton Tasker of Hanover, PA..
