It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine L. Ambrose of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel D. Brewer and Vincentia Brewer (Adams); her spouse Ira Ambrose; her grandson Samuel Ambrose; and her brothers, Vincent Brewer, Samuel Brewer, Charles Brewer and Clyde Brewer.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Wagaman (Robert), Ira S. Ambrose (Pamela), Kathy Ambrose Foster (Alex) and Brian Ambrose; her grandchildren, Nicholas Wagaman, Jessica Wagaman, Faith Keller, Katarina Anderson, Kiersten Fleck, Ira Ambrose, Caitlyn Herrmann, Colin Lowe and Rachael Ambrose; her stepgrandson Jeffrey Gift; her great grandchildren, Jackson Robert Wagaman, Avery Herrmann, Brielle Soliday, Sienna Soliday and Melody Keller; and her siblings, Darlene McCleaf and Robert Brewer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services, because of the COVID 19 pandemic will be private and at the convenience of the family.
