He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Reed and Ethel LaRue Reed; and his siblings, Jack R. Reed, Peggy Breighner, Sally Reed, Susan Boch, Pat Gardner and Betty Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Tamara S. "Tammy" Varish Reed; and his siblings, Joan Gebhart of Gettysburg, PA, Joseph T. Reed, Jr. of Galeton, PA, James Reed of Gettysburg, PA, Sandra Angell of Gettysburg, PA and Jay Reed of Gettysburg, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
