He was predeceased by: his parents, John McHale and Ann McHale (Caden); and his sister Theresa McCollum. He is survived by: his wife Ann E. McHale (Savage); his daughters, Maura McHale Allison (Keith) of Taylorsville, MD, Brenda Ciccarone (Brent) of Baltimore, MD and Jean Marie McHale of Baltimore; his granddaughter Ella McHale Ciccarone; and his sisters, Maureen Mendles of Kearney, NJ and Geraldine O'Connell of Netcong, NJ. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the Monahan Funeral Home (125 Carlisle St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (25 W High St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (45 W High St, Gettysburg, PA 17325).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gettysburg Community Soup Kitchen, 22 W. High St. or Sisters of St. Joseph, 9701 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118.
