With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Joseph Nilles of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 22, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Joseph and Lorene Anna Nilles; his wife Martha Anne Goode; his sister Helen Owens; his children, Lorene and John Charles; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Beth Anne, Andrew, Jeremy, Brigit and Helen.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to research on Alzheimer's disease.
