Smarsh of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smarsh and Ruth Smarsh (Dice); and his brothers, Robert Smarsh and Joseph Smarsh. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smarsh (Small); his children, Leslie Smarsh (Bill Lindsley), Eric Smarsh (Tammy), Thomas Smarsh (Kelly) and Susan Sanders (Smarsh); and his sister Patricia Rose (Ken). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
