He is survived by: his children, Claire Barnett (Richard) of Greencastle, PA, Patricia Snider of Frederick, MD, Jerome Keating, Jr. of Frederick, MD, Teresa Hitt (Robert) of Ellicott City, MD and Michael Keating (Kimberly) of Douglasville, GA; his son-in-law Robert Siess of Damascus; his grandchildren, Maureen Spessard, Christopher Snider, Jason Hitt, Samantha Hitt, Robert Hitt, Jr., Thomas Hitt, Matthew Siess, Catherine Siess, Alexis Keating and James Keating; and his great grandchildren, Zachary Hang, Austin Frazier, Juniper Tegethoff, Phinneas Tegethoff, Otis Hitt and Wesley Hitt.
