Helen M. Fissel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen M. Fissel of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 17, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McDannell and Anna McDannell (Tressler); her husband Frank H. Fissel, Jr.; and her sisters, Jean Roth, Mary Kennell and Judith McDannell.
She is survived by: her children, Frank H. Fissel, III (Sharon), Stephen C. Fissel (Marci), Terri L. Hershey (David) and Michele D. Stoner; her grandchildren, Jason Fissel, Heidi Hawbaker, Nathanael Fissel, Joshua Fissel, Shane Fissel, Kari Gilday, Courtney Hall, Daniel Sanders, Angela Krapp, Ashlyn Kindberg, Allison Randall and Aaron Stoner; and her siblings, Dorothy Steinour and Jay McDannell. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren.
