Glenn M. Bentzel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn M. Bentzel of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray D. Bentzel and Esther G. (Angel); his stepfather Mark D. Stock; his daughter Diane M. Bentzel; and his sister Doris Rickrode.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley L. Bentzel (Lehigh); his daughters, Karen Hilbert (Dan) of Gettysburg, Lori Dixon (Pat) of Gettysburg and Melissa Heintzelman (Ray) of Biglerville; his grandchildren, Rebecca Beamer, Darren Dixon (Colleen), Amy Rhea and Justin Horan (Emma); and his great grandchildren, Cody Beamer, Douglas Beamer, Lila Dixon and Marshall Horan. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
