It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys M. George of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 29, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James F. George, Sr.; her parents, Philip S. Wright and Clara Wright (Groft) of Virginia; and her siblings, Gloyd A. Wright, Philip S. Wright and Margaret E. Luckenbaugh.
She is survived by: her children, James F. "Sam" George, Jr., Retired Master Sergeant John W., David E. George, Victoria M. George and Sally A. Lovelace (Toby, Sr.). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines and in compliance with health and public safety directives, those attending the services will be required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing protocols.
