She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. West and Effie West (DeCosta); and her daughter Lynn Marie Harding. She is survived by: her children, Karen Pickens (John) of Fayetteville and Craig Harding (Karen) of Sykesville, MD; and her grandchildren, Abby, Jacob Harding, John "Jay" Pickens, Jr., Stephanie Harrison and Rachel Smith. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
