With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George F. Thorsen of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Thorsen and Josephine Roseto Thorsen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Williams Thorsen; his children, Erica Thorsen of Charlottesville, VA and James Thorsen of Philadelphia, PA; his granddaughters, Rebecca Payne and Amanda Payne; and his brother Joseph Thorsen of Queens, NY..

Due to the COVID 19 situation funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Adams County Library System, 140 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
