She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilson and Annie Wilson (Stitely); her husband Charles M. Adkins; her daughter Joyce Ann Adkins; her grandson Glen Adkins; and her siblings, Miriam, Robert, Raymond, Edgar, Roland, Walter Wilson, Edwina Hahn, Olive Young, Martha Adkins and Agnes VanCouitran.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Adkins (Karen) of Hanover, PA, Carolyn Griffith (Alan) of Hagerstown and Esther Roop (Sam) of Abbottstown, PA. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be private for Elsie's family, with the Rev. Dwight Mikesell officiating.
