He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wayne and Shirley Marie Bower (Finfrock); his sister Cathy Kime (Bower); and his grandson Ethan Slaybaugh. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Bower (Mock) of Gettysburg; his children, Casey Ann Slaybaugh (Matthew) of Aspers, Kayla Renee Black (John, Jr.) of Biglerville and Dustin Lee Bower (Kristina Drechsler) of Gettysburg; and his brothers, Wayne Bower (Sharon) of Biglerville and Ricky Bower (Kathy) of Biglerville. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
