David R. Sheller Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David R. Sheller of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Sheller and Mary Sheller (Buffington); his wife Joann Sheller (Wolf); and his siblings, Charles Richard Sheller, Goldie Waltz and Mary Ellen "Peg" Townsend.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shawn S. Keilholtz (Jeff) of Hagerstown, MD and Beth A. Rohrbaugh (Allen) of Gettysburg; his granddaughters, Nichole Hockenberry (Nate), Piper Rohrbaugh, Addison Rohrbaugh and Kendall Rohrbaugh; his great grandchildren, Chase Smith, Sydney Hockenberry and Griffin Hockenberry; his sisters, Winnie Hock (Ray) of Harrisburg, Pauline Smith of Carlisle, Audrey Sheller Bowers and Miriam Sheller Footitt of Arizona; and his close friend Joyce Naugle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, 465 Table Rock Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325 where three of his granddaughters attended.
