He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Herbert Ruby and Lois Mae Watts Ruby; his son-in-law Chad Shaffer; and his brother Kenneth Ruby. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jane Ruby; his son Scott Ruby; his close friends, Jeremy Grandstaff, Jerry Jayjohn, JoEllen Shaffer (Terry Goodwin) and Patricia Ruby (Jonathan Tolbert); and his siblings, Rita Harris and Pierce Ruby (Leah Ruby). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
