It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Douglass Jr. (Gettysburg, Pennsylvania), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gilbert, Sr. and L. Lavinia Douglass (Parks); his sons, Michael Douglass and Paul Douglass; and his grandson Evyn Douglass.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Dieter (Lloyd), Joann Grubb (Edgar), Kathleen Gordon (Richard) and Mark Douglass; his daughter-in-law Nancy Douglass; his grandchildren, Laura Hunt, Carla Goodman, Brad Ragucci, Nancy Goodman, Jamie Meinschein, Erica Wadlington, Adam Douglass, Andrew Gordon, Audrey Nolasco, Brianna Gordon, Alyssa Douglass and Devyn Douglass; and his siblings, Cecelia Marr, Joseph Douglass, Anna Day, William Douglass and Teresa Giese. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
Due to COVID-19 and recommended restrictions, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
