It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence E. Merritt of Georgetown, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hoffman and Catherine Hoffman; her husband Robert Merritt; her daughter Eileen Gerger (Tom); and her siblings, Marie Sabatucci, Ed Hoffman, Richard Hoffman, Jean Palermo, Jerry Hoffman, Judy Tillilie and Ron Hoffman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Terpack (Ray), Susan Hric (Joe), Nancy Rettinger (Michael), Sally Logue (Bill), Jill Camino (Mike), Robert Merritt (Deb), Jan Frederick (Daniel) and Becky Acock (Jeff); and her brother Robert Hoffman. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews.
