He is survived by: his wife Doris "Debbie" Whitehill (Sutherin); his son Robert D. Whitehill; his grandchildren, Rachel Black and Chance Whitehill; and his siblings, James D. Whitehill (Sharon), Thomas J. Whitehill (Mary), Brenda Petkunas (John) and Bonnie Genre (Joe).
