He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Shutt and Alice Ahearn Shutt; his spouse Jean C. McCann; his daughter Michelle Mills; and his brothers, Leo Shutt, Virgle Shutt, Lewis Shutt, James Shutt, Charles Shutt and Henry Shutt.
He is survived by: his children, William D. Shutt, Jr. (ShaLynn Strine) of Genesee and Amy Loring (Noel Deuell) of Wellsville, NY; and his siblings, Howard Shutt (Anne) of Lawrenceville, Betty Sturdevant (Francis) of Shinglehouse, Angie Finke (Melvin) of Shinglehouse and Jennie Urbaniak (Paul) of Lawrenceville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
