With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn J. Matteson of Genesee, Pennsylvania, born in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 15, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry J. Hamilton and Dorothy E. Pero Hamilton; her husband David E. Matteson; her children, Andrew Matteson (Amy Fields) of Genesee, Vicky Carr (Brian) of Roulette, Crystal Inzana (Jon) of Genesee and Kimberly Kio of Ulysses; her siblings, Henry M. Hamilton (Marie) of Ulysses, Phyllis Thompson (Gene) of Ulysses, Lorraine Angood of Ulysses, Norma Cornell of Ulysses, Lucille Morseman (Frank) of Ulysses and Jeanette Silsby (Ronald) of Genesee; her son-in-law Jonathan Kio; and her brother-in-law David Angood. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
