It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Donaldson (Garrett, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Earl and Etta Werner (Llewellyn); her husband Harold Donaldson (Popeye); and her siblings, Bill Werner, Don Werner, Rodger Werner, Charles Aurndt and Sally Romesburg.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kristi Sines (Chadd), Megan Henry (James), Ashley Dively (Levi), Joel Delancy (Jodi), Ryan Donaldson (Candace) and Matthew Donaldson (Tori); her great grandchildren, Austin, Jacob Sines, Harper, Ryker Henry, Quinn Dively, Jordan, Julian Delancy, Caden Donaldson, Rylyn Shaffer and Gerritt Donaldson; her siblings, Ken Werner, Helen Davis, Lois Myers, Wilma Purbaugh and Bonnie Decker (Rick); her sisters-in-law, Barbara Donaldson and Freda Aurndt; and her friend Stella Lee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the church that Shirley loved and attended since the age of five, Garrett United Church of Christ.
