It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Foley (Garrett, Pennsylvania), born in Dupree, South Dakota, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dewey and Catherine Alveda Davis (Perkins); her husband John Foley of Garrett County, MD; her daughter Catherine Ranck; and her siblings, Catherine Cosette Stewart, James Robert "Bunk" Davis, Walter John "Jack" Davis and Gail Norman Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Edgar Ranck of Lewisburg, WV, David Ranck of Colorado Springs, CO, Susan Ranck of Edinburg, VA, Holly Foster (Foley) of Yadkinville, NC, Mathew Foley and Loch Lynn Heights, MD; her granddaughters, Amanda Ranck of Romulus, NY and Sharon Grybos (Ranck); her siblings, Shirley Jean Traxler (Davis) of Winchester, TN and David Alden Davis of Monticello, MN; and her sister-in-law Violet Fern Foley-Genung. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
