He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Joseph Sherbin and Constance Minikin Sherbin; his wife Linda Owens Sherbin; his sons, John C. Sherbin (Amy) and James E. Sherbin; his adoptive daughter Sydney Sherbin; and his grandchildren, Sydney Sherbin, James Kyle of Lancing, MI, Megan of Garrett County, Tim of Garrett County, Jordan of Garrett County, Jetta of Garrett County and Jalynn of Garrett County.
Jim requested a private graveside service, and in lieu of flowers, he preferred donations be sent to Cindy's Fund, P. O. Box 182, Oakland, Maryland, 21550.
