He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Orville and Emma Pearl Armstrong (Stewart); his grandson Jeremey Wiles; his great great grandchild Ryan White; and his siblings, Darrell, Franky, Harold, Jimmy Armstrong and Louise Brady.
He is survived by: his wife Betty May Armstrong; his children, Henry Armstrong, Jr. (Brittany), Robert Armstrong of Woodstock, VA, Michael Armstrong (Chelsea), Pauline Gank (Jerry), Sandy Phillips (Elkridge, MD) and Pamela Dewitt; and his siblings, Bob Armstrong (Maggie), Tom Armstrong (Kathy), Jane Walsh of Waldorf, MD, Darlene Armstrong (Laurel, MD) and Mary Tusing (Jim). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
