He was predeceased by: his parents, Mehmet Nuri and Şefika Saylan; and his wife Sheila Saylan. He is survived by: his children, Kurt Saylan (Monica), Susan Silvestro (Caesar Jr.) and Denise St. Germain (Scott); his grandchildren, Andrew, Isabella, Alexandra, Sarah, Caesar III, Julia and Kelly; his niece Mebrure Uçkun; and his nephew Serdar Uçkun.
