He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman A. Whitmore, and Dollyne Kanode Whitmore, Sr.; and his siblings, Revelle, Robert (Richard Whitmore), June Piccano and Joan Madigan (Mary Jane Schork).
He is survived by: his wife Bernice McLaughlin Whitmore. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
