With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Tynan of Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Tynan to pay them a last tribute.
Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada White and John White. She is survived by: her children, Bob Tynan of Atlanta, GA and Cecily Tynan Watson of Glen Mills, PA; and her grandchildren, Luke Watson, Emma Watson, Vivienne Tynan and Gavin Tynan. She is also survived by her neighbors, friends and grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Newtown Congregational Church (14 West St, Newtown, CT 06470).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Newtown Congregation Church.
