He was predeceased by: his parents, Irish and Mary Cunniffe of County Mayo; and his siblings, John, Mary Stenson, Bernie, Margaret Cleaves and Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Cunniffe; and his sister Anne Calabrese (Fred).
