As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Catherine may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Joseph and Margaret Reilly Ferkler; her former husband Joseph Healy Sr.; and her brothers, Thomas Ferkler and Joseph Ferkler.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbur P. Tyson; her children, Catherine Warner (Craig), Joseph Healy, Jr. (Renee), Benjamin Tyson (Theresa) and Morgan Tyson; and her sister Agnes Reeder (Thomas). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of the Holy Child (2500 Naamans Rd, Wilmington, DE 19810). A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Siloam United Methodist Cemetery (3720 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA 19060).
