He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry James and Marvel Joy Passenger Schlining; his daughter Edie Louise Schlining; and his siblings, Beverly Hallowell and Frederick Schlining.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Louise Clark Schlining; and his son John Schlining of Garland.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Wesleyan Cemetery.
