She was predeceased by: her father Ralph E. Decker. She is survived by: her husband Melvin F. Mentzer, Jr.; and her children, Lonnie Mentzer (Tina Marie), Melissa Ann Chronister (Shane) and Ronald F. Mentzer (Sarah). She is also survived by four grandchildren and five sisters.
